Richa Gangopadhyay bagged the lead role in "Osthi" the tamil remake of "Dhabbangg" along with Silambarasan and she says that while her character may be the same as Sona's played by Sonakshi Sinha, her acting style is not.
"She had a lot of scope to perform as well as being a glam doll. That's the best combination for me. I don't want to be just a pretty face in the film. I want to be remembered for my role. Dharani sir has given me much more scope in this film than in the original movie. You'll get to see a variety of expressions and emotions from my character."
Richa says she has tried to incorporate her own style to the character. "I do have a different body language as I grew up in the US. I have a western body language - I did observe how she did it in Dabangg. She plays a strong woman who takes care of her drunk dad. I had to get comfortable with that role. I thought Sonakshi was adorable. I hope the audiences will approve of me,"
